Alexandra's Cooking Fraud

Good evening everyone.
Yesterday I received Alexandra’s weekly newsletter. This week she decided to share a few recipes with her followers, who had apparently been asking for the delicious-looking dinner she’d posted.
When you look at the photo, you might think, Wow. Alex really knows how to whip up a beautiful meal.
When I looked at it, I thought: Fraud.
Because the person who actually made that dinner was yours truly.
What’s worse is that Alexandra had confidently informed me she was making dinner that night. But when I arrived at her apartment, she was busy taste-testing some new Masa chips while the chicken sat untouched on the counter.
So I seasoned the chicken and put it in the oven. Risking my fiddle-playing fingers, I even broke out the mandolin slicer for the cucumber salad.
At one point she thoughtfully asked, “Can I help?”
