Crumbl Cookie Hits Rock Bottom
+ Big Pharma goes MAHA with Caitlin Clark
Good morning everyone.
I’ve been enjoying watching the World Cup, where Lionel Messi has further solidified himself as an absolute legend of the world’s most popular sport.
To be honest, I’m also just now learning about some of these countries. Take Cape Verde, a tiny island nation off the west coast of Africa that’s holding its own against countries where soccer is a more powerful institution than the government and the church combined.
Then there was a team with the abbreviation KSA. I have no idea what that stands for, but they lost, so it’s sort of irrelevant anyway.
I also noticed Iran is playing. It’s a country I’m fairly certain I’ve heard mentioned recently, though I can’t quite place where. Perhaps it was in that article, Cheapest, Most Exciting Honeymoon Destinations of 2026, that I read earlier this week?
I want to give a shoutout to Mrs. Allen, who wrote in yesterday to inform me of a grammatical error.
My copy editor is currently on strike after refusing to be compensated exclusively by words of affirmation. So Mrs. Allen, being the English teacher extraordinaire and overall gracious woman that she is, saw what needed to be done and did the work herself.
Mrs. Allen is a longtime friend of ROB, and we are indebted to her eagle eye. So much so that I’ve just comped her a lifetime paid subscription.
As for the rest of you who have yet to prove your worth... well, all I’ll say is that, out of the kindness of my heart, I’m cutting subscription prices in half for this week. So if you want access to the good stuff, become a paying subscriber.
This week only—it’s cheaper than a cup of coffee.
