Hello everyone.

Yesterday I competed in a Hyrox race with my buddy Kevin, who plays a crucial supporting role in the Running On Butter narrative.

Kevin is the ultimate frenemy. The guy who pushes me in every area of life, whether I like it or not. Yesterday was no exception. We went hard.

That said, I do need to issue a small correction.

Some online outlets (namely: my girlfriend’s Instagram) reported that Kevin and I won the entire competition. This, unfortunately, is fake news.

You see, my girlfriend is clueless when it comes to sports and athletic events. I could tell her I’m hoping to see a game-winning grand slam at the Super Bowl next week and she’d be like, “Cool! Me too!”

On the drive to the race yesterday, she asked, “Wait—so is this like a race where you run fast?”
