Oh wow. When I am released from my strict Keto diet I want to try. I live in the inland OC. I recall the best peaches I ever had in my life were discovered on our one family vacation to Walla Walla Washington to see relatives. We picked from a farm, and my Aunt served slices on french toast, sprinkled with powdered sugar. I’ve been on a life quest ever since to find peaches as delicious. I found a few decent peaches this year from Sprouts which I had to set out to ripen a couple weeks…very nice but never like the first I had from the tree.
Yes prices, cost of living are tough here. Oh and I also found you since the original Poplitics fans were hoping for Alex to find that amazing husband. Hence, I now know about Substacked and you. And you probably will need a little plan for the new fame recognition.
I think PSL is dying. I used to wait with great anticipation every year when they would bring it back and I would enjoy multiple lattes during the short time that it was available every year. I still have yet to try one this season, maybe I won’t. Honestly, I’ve changed my ways when it comes to Starbucks and I try more frequently to get drinks that are less sugary and sweet and if I do order something that’s sweet I request less syrup or none at all. Btw, your wife is 1 in a billion!!!
For what it's worth, my family and I used to attend your family's concerts (Redding, CA area) in like 2008. So I knew of you way long ago! We still listen to the albums and Kung Fu Homeschooler is a favorite tune of ours :)
I started following Alex a couple years ago and after the wedding, I thought, "wow, Voetberg, that's not a very common name." Then I saw the photo of you guys fiddling and finally put it together!
