Last weekend, I visited my family in the Northwest.
In addition to soaking up my nieces and nephews' heart-melting smiles and giggles, chatting with my parents about the uncomely political landscape, and working out with my super fit brothers, I was also granted the opportunity to make butter with raw milk from my brother and sister-in-law's new cow, Butterscotch.
Butterscotch is undoubtedly the best addition to the family since either my nephew, Henty, or my niece, Lindy.
Here's a photo of Butterscotch delighting in a field of wild irises.

In all my years of butter advocacy, I'd never taken it upon myself to actually make the golden, nutrient-dense fat. And I must say, the experience was sacred. It felt like a culmination of sorts. Like my whole existence was preparing me for this hallowed event.
Anyway, I made a little video about it. Check it out below and let me know what you think.
What a Heavenly place in which you live! Thank you for sharing our Butterscotch how-you-do butter!
Our Butterscotch, who art in the field, hallowed be thy butter. Thy cream has come, thy butter be made on Earth as it is in heaven…
Great vlog, Butterscotch is a Queen!!! 🤩
That looks so delicious!
