Thank you for this! I’m stopping my daily use of erythritol now.

Your conclusions about erythritol are based on poor-quality research. Next, you'll claim the same outcomes for xylitol, which has 23,000 published research manuscripts confirming safety and efficacy. The research linking erythritol to stroke and heart disease measured endogenous erythritol, not dietary erythritol. Endogenous erythritol and xylitol are released when high levels of sugar and refined carbohydrates are consumed. Research over many years confirms sugar is a significant risk for heart disease, among other systemic diseases.

I have been sounding the alarm about -ol sweeteners for a while, in part because of their effects on fertility and the gut. This heart stuff was news to me though. Thank you.

Canada seems to be getting to be an alarming place to live, particularly for Christians. But the US will probably not be far behind.

Does ROB endorse any alternate sweeteners? I’ve seen great promise from allulose 🤞
