I knew it. It just seemed too good to be true. The fact is chips are not healthful.

Vance, I don’t know if this is a good place to ask, but do you have an article about not having conventional health insurance? I tried to search, but can’t find anything. Or any articles/research you could point me to to? I would love an article from you or a podcast episode from Alex about this topic. It’s very hard to find good info. out there. Thanks so much!

This is an episode from Alex Clark on the topic. It’s been a while since I listened, but I hope it has what you’re looking for. You might also look into direct primary care.

Roasting sweet potatoes in coconut oil is beyond delicious! I would recommend it myself!

Before even knowing these articles came out, I started to question how the industry was keeping up with the demand for "healthy" oils, mainly avocado. Dang it. Siete chips just came out with my new favorite chip at Costco too. 🤪

I don’t use much avocado oil , but ERYTHRITOL 😣😢 this is in most better choice pops and so many ´healthy’ baking recipes .. ugh, frustrating. Thanks for writing this article!!

I knew Siete was too good to be true and still I find myself disappointed

I don’t mind Aaron’s comment because he has a history of standing steadfast against the covid protocols, being unvaxxed and absolutely ostracized for it. (Literally had to wear a freaking wristband identifying it during training camp and football season) - He’s taken a lot of heat for his stances, so I don’t want to add to it as someone who agrees with him. But I’m also biased as I am a born and raised Packer fan, and have liked him since he took over for Favre!

This is really sad, but I also really love chips 🙈 I’m afraid I’ll still be munching on my Late July “avocado oil” tortilla chips every few days. Balance, right? 😂 My husband renders deer and moose fat after every hunt to make tallow, so we’re set in that department!

I enjoyed avocado oil as I radically changed my diet and lifestyle, but I can’t say it’s a necessity at this point. I’ve been through a couple gallons of Chosen Foods avocado oil from Costco, and the top things I used it for - granola and chocolate cake - are just fine, if not better, with coconut oil and olive oil respectively.
